2023: The Year of “Viva Magenta”
After the rush of the busy holiday season in the shop, our fearless lead designer, Allison, had a vision: Pantone Color of the Year had been announced for 2023, ushering in the promise of bold and vibrant days ahead!
2023 Pantone Color of the Year, Viva Magenta, is a berry-hued, blissful re-introduction to the world of color. After many of us have been through so much over the past few years, we were inspired to infuse celebration, striking color, and textures into our lives, and Viva Magenta gave us full permission to dive in.
We are thrilled and honored to be published by the highly esteemed wedding publication, Bespoke Bride, who premiered our shoot this week!
Inspired by the base note of Viva Magenta, Allison, and Marketing Lead Hannah, dove into color families and stylings that incorporated this beautifully bold shade seamlessly. Inspired by 4 distinct colorways and the regal air of each unique space within the stunning Dane Estate in Chestnut Hill, MA, Allison dreamed up each vision with the help of the Just Bloom’d Weddings Designer team Michael, Michael, Stephanie, and Beth to bring them to life with their special blend of floral magic.
Here we preview scene one, a gorgeous floral frame and cascading couch floral vision.
A breathtaking display of bright pinks, peaches, apricots, fuschias, and the daring Viva Magenta Shade, accented with pops of Yellow Mimosa and preserved dyed ferns in vibrant orange to create a striking contrast.
Our models, Vanessa and Jason, are newly engaged in real life! We are so honored to have connected with them and witnessed their magic in these photos. So grateful for their collaboration on our styled shoot, and to share in their love for each other! It was such a dream.
Mr. G’s Tuxedos and Men’s Fashion provided the chic Ike Behar double-breasted tuxedo and patent leather loafers, as well as the viva magenta-inspired floral bowtie to complete Jason’s chic groom aesthetic.
Boston Bride graciously styled Vanessa in a stunning fit-n-flare, custom beaded champagne and ivory dress and romantic detachable chiffon skirt. Boston Bride sourced this amazing dress (and many others) from women designers in Ukraine and always seeks to support their beautiful lineage of handiwork on the world stage.
Our amazing photographer, Addie Roberge of Addie Roberge Photography, utilized a combination of pink uplights, subdued lighting, and flash photography in the scenes to create both romantic and on-trend looks that are highly requested by couples.
B. Remembered Weddings shot a beautiful highlight reel of the day, capturing Jason and Vanessa’s love story in a series of short clips. Their cinematic take on our stunning shoot and personal touch with their couple interview makes the video an absolute treasure for the couple for a lifetime.
Vanessa’s Hollywood glam hair was created by incredible stylist Nicole Greco, owner and founder of Hair by NMG, and accented with a gorgeous crystal comb from Boston Bride.
Vanessa’s makeup was an effortless and refined look by Beauty By Lo founder, Lauren Branch.
